Gallagher Re: Ageing housing stock and severity trends driving SCS losses, not climate change
Increased severe convective storm insured losses over the past two decades are not down to climate change and a rise in frequency and severity, but instead are being primarily driven by ageing housing stock and severity trends outpacing CPI, according to new Gallagher Re research.
