CNA records lowest Q1 CR in 5 years at 91.9%
Underwriting income at CNA Financial group more than quadrupled in the first quarter, from $36mn to $156mn, as a pointed drop in catastrophe losses helped the insurer lower its combined ratio by 6.2 points to 91.9 percent, its best in five years.
