Carlyle sues 35 insurers over failure to pay $700mn claim for Russian jet seizures
Aircraft lessor Carlyle Aviation Partners has filed a legal action in Florida seeking $700mn from more than 30 insurers – including AIG, Axis, Chubb and a number of Lloyd’s syndicates – after they failed to pay out over jet seizures by Russian airlines.
