Analysts: Q2 earnings calls to focus on outlook despite BV hit and higher US cats
JMP’s Matt Carletti is projecting book values of P&C companies he follows to shrink by an average of 10 percent on mark-to-market (MTM) headwinds and the impact of potentially elevated Q2 domestic cat losses on earnings, but expects the main focus of discussions with management will be on a sector outlook clouded by macroeconomic uncertainty.
