Alliant takes Confie goodwill charge but revenues climb 27% in 9M ’22

Expansive retail broker Alliant took a “large” goodwill impairment charge related to its 2021 acquisition of Confie after the personal lines firm experienced a decline in revenue and profits, but grew revenues at the group level by 27 percent in the first nine months of last year to $2.5bn.
