AerCap shocks insurers with $3.5bn claim but admits assets are actually worth much less
The week began with this publication revealing that the world’s largest aircraft leasing company AerCap had submitted a $3.5bn preliminary notice of claim on its all risks cover, led by Global Aerospace, Starr and AIG.
