Rob Bredahl

President and CEO, Third Point Reinsurance

Bredahl is the President and CEO of Third Point Reinsurance. He has held this role since March 2017. He has also served as Chief Executive Officer of Third Point Reinsurance since August 2017.

Bredahl has held a series of senior positions at Third Point Reinsurance since joining the carrier in 2012, including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Before joining Third Point Reinsurance Bredahl was Chief Executive Officer of Aon Benfield Securities, Aon’s Investment Banking Group, and the President of the Americas division of Aon Benfield.

Bredahl joined Benfield in 2002, holding the position of Chief Executive Officer of Benfield US at the time of the acquisition by Aon in 2008. He has also previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Inreon and Managing Director and Head of US Derivative Sales for Barclays Capital.
