Chief Operations Officer, Lloyd’s

Jennifer Rigby was appointed as Chief Operations Officer at Lloyd’s in July 2019 and her remit includes Group Technology, Business Transformation, Global Operations, Group Procurement, Data, Innovation, IT and Corporate Real Estate.

Jennifer joined Lloyd’s in May 2017 as Chief Information Officer, leading on technology transformation, cyber security and innovation as part of Lloyd’s overall strategy. Under her leadership, IT costs have reduced significantly, and she has played an important role in delivering an ambitious portfolio of digital change initiatives including the technology that underpins Lloyd’s Brussels. She has also managed day-to-day technology services globally, including the network, data centres and several shared services.

Previously Jennifer has held several senior roles in the public sector and was awarded IT Transformation of the Year at the Women in IT Awards in 2016 during her time at O2 - Telefonica.
