James Vickers

Chairman, Willis Re

Vickers is the Chairman of Willis Re, where he oversees all of the intermediary’s activities outside North America. He has been with Willis for 40 years, joining in 1978 as a broker in the reinsurance division, where he handled non-marine treaty business.

Vickers is a director of a number of other Willis Group subsidiaries, including Willis Limited.

He is also the leader of Willis Re’s public private sector practice group, which works in conjunction with Willis Towers Watson’s Capital Science and policy unit to further the development of Willis Re’s activities in the public private sector.
