David Hollander

Global Insurance Leader, EY

Dave is responsible for overseeing EY insurance clients globally. He leads a team of over 12,000 industry professionals committed to helping insurers transform and reshape their business models through EY audit, business consulting, tax and corporate finance services. He has over 30 years of experience working in and advising the insurance industry, with broad business and IT strategy as well as hands-on leadership and implementation of major operational change programs. His experience ranges from global change programs for primary insurers and brokers as well as transformation programs for various regulatory bodies.

Prior to joining EY, Dave served as the CEO of a UK-based Insurance Software company from fundraising through operational setup. This SaaS-based service provider has over 50 lines of business in operation in 20+ countries around the world. Prior to the software company, Dave founded and ran a global Insurance Software Solutions group within one of the largest global consulting firms, consisting of more than 200 dedicated professionals organized around world, licensing leading edge insurance solutions in: Claims, Policy and Underwriting domains to leading insurance carriers around the globe. Additionally, he was responsible for the integration of newly acquired life insurance software assets with 50 customers in three countries, and serving 16 of the top 20 insurers in the US.

Dave holds a degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, has authored numerous articles for Best’s Review, Insurance and Technology and other trade publications, and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
