Citizens CEO warns of “almost incomprehensible growth” as PIF nears 1mn
Citizens president and CEO Barry Gilway warned that Florida’s state-backed insurer is on course for a policy count of 1.2 million by year-end and almost 1.6 million by the end of 2023 as business continues to flood in from the private market amid a slew of failures and wider carrier retrenchment.
