ARPC adds new layer and cuts retention on A$3.475bn retro cover

The Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation (ARPC) has completed the placement of its terrorism retrocession coverage for 2021 and added a new A$25mn ($19.7mn) layer at the bottom of the programme as it also reduced its retention to A$225mn.
