EU insurers welcome Indian reforms; call for removal of “unnecessary” barriers for foreign carriers

Europe’s insurers have praised proposals for sweeping reforms to insurance regulation in India, but called on policymakers to push for the removal of “unnecessary” barriers to entry for foreign carriers.
