Swift: The Hartford sees 100 bps spread between renewal pricing and loss trends

The Hartford’s management has commented on an earnings call that its commercial price increases remain ahead of loss cost trends, although its global specialty unit saw a two point drop in its price increases in Q3 driven primarily by excess public D&O.
