Judge orders AIG to pay $91.5mn in defence costs for EtO exposure litigation
A Northern District of Illinois judge has ruled that an AIG subsidiary owes Griffith Foods $16.0mn and Sterigenics $75.5mn in defence costs for an underlying suit that claims individuals were harmed by exposure to discharges of ethylene oxide (EtO) from sterilisation facilities.
