AM Best downgrades Topa to B++ despite pending takeover
Topa Insurance Company and its subsidiary Dorchester Insurance Company – which Granada Financial Group last month agreed a deal to buy – have been downgraded to B++ (Good) from A- (Excellent) by AM Best as a result of reserve strengthening on a discontinued commercial auto insurance program.
