Hannover Re hikes retro cover to €1.34bn at 1.1; defies crunch fears
Hannover Re expanded its natural catastrophe retrocession program by 55.8 percent and increased its large loss budget by almost a quarter at the 1 January renewals in a move the reinsurer said would lower earnings volatility and allow it to further grow its nat cat book at upcoming renewals.
