The Hartford increases attachment point on cat covers and pays 28% rate increase
The Hartford increased the attachment point on its per occurrence cat treaty at 1.1 from $100mn to $150mn and retained more in the first layers up to $350mn as the reinsured share dropped from 70 percent to 60 percent.
