AM Best goes negative on Canopius US and Bermuda reinsurance A- ratings
AM Best has revised the outlooks to negative from stable on its A- (Excellent) financial strength ratings of Wilmington-based Canopius US and Bermuda-based Canopius Re, with the agency citing pressures on the holding company’s balance sheet strength assessment.
