Suez Canal P&I claim cut to $600mn as UK Club says loss bill still too big
The UK Club – the P&I insurer to the Ever Given, which blocked the Suez Canal for six days in March – has responded to reports that Eyptian authorities have reduced their claim against the vessel’s owner from $916mn to to $600mn, stating the claim is still “exceptionally large”.
