Chilton nets $63.7mn+ as Capsicum Re sells for maximum $336.5mn
Former Benfield CEO Grahame ‘Chily’ Chilton has netted his second fortune from reinsurance broking after AJ Gallagher disclosed today that it had paid an upfront $127.4mn with the potential for a further $200mn+ in earn-out consideration to acquire Capsicum Re, the broker Chilton co-founded in 2013.
