Allianz becomes 2nd-largest UK general insurer following £820mn deals
Allianz is to acquire the remaining 51 percent stake in the general insurance business of UK insurer LV= for up to £578mn ($729mn), one of two transactions announced this morning that will see the expansive carrier become the UK’s second largest general insurer.
