Covid drives ERS to near nine-fold H1 profit increase
Motor insurer ERS has reported a profit of £28.2mn in the first half of the year, up from the £3.1mn it posted in the same period last year as the steep drop off in driving during the Covid-19 lockdown led to a fall in claims frequency.
