Allstate confirms expanded Castle Key reinsurance cover

Allstate has confirmed it now has 10 contracts in place for its Florida excess catastrophe reinsurance program that cover up to $1.24bn of losses, a big increase on the four contracts covering up to $633mn in the previous year’s program, a move first revealed by The Insurer in May.
