AM Best goes negative on Kemper after earnings deterioration
AM Best has revised its outlook on Kemper Corporation’s financial strength rating of A and long-term issuer credit ratings of “a” to negative from stable in response to “the significant earnings deterioration” reported by the insurer and the potential impact on its capital.
