AM Best: US P&C insurers still need price rises despite doubling net income

AM Best has said that many US publicly traded P&C insurers still need to push for higher rates to offset claim costs after a year that ranked as the second worst on record for billion-dollar weather and climate disasters and which saw severity in private passenger auto increase significantly.
